1.2MM Make Sense
Summer holidays are coming and it’s about time to update.
As we shared earlier, our Machinima Event featuring Emma Acs has been rescheduled. We are excited to announce the winner and to celebrate all of the great work submitted by some incredibly talented folks. The event has been rescheduled for August to accommodate live video streaming from in-world to the Emma Acs fans, RL media, and our friends out there not able to join us for the party.
Here at the lab, we feel it is important to demonstrate our vision for bridging the gap between both worlds. The talent in here truly deserves the maximum attention possible, and we thank you for bearing with us during the reschedule.
In other news, as you see we have redesigned our site. Our posts are now much more legible, our media is integrated into the navigation, and we have some exciting new features still underway. However, please keep the feedback coming! Your input is essential.
Now for some shockingly good news! As mentioned earlier here on the blog, measurement is critical to demonstrating the true impact of virtual media. After reviewing all of the blog posts, tweets, Facebook updates, videos, and photos, we can share that our previous Giana Factory project garnered a total of 1.2MM impressions! While this number is small relative to other media channels like television and print, there is a clear difference between an advertisement reaching the masses and an authentic recommendation from someone that can say ‘they were there.’
More actions ’round the corner!
Happy Summer!
