The jury will recieve guidelines based on our Pop Art Lab Machinima contest 2010. In these guidelines each subfield eg. “Quality of storyline” or “Quality of editing” can be voted on a scale from 1-5. By doing this it makes it easier to filter the overall quality. More on this when we get closer. We will respect the jury fully but also intend to show transparency throughout the process and anonymously post bits of their feedback and comments edited here.
Beside the above jury the three girls in Giana Factory and Claus Uriza (Pop Art Lab) will try mingle it all together and participate in the process. However it should be stated the final winner will be based upon above experts choices!

Mmm… So the rules change… At the beginning, the band was supposed to choose, now it’s the “experts”. It’s a poor move, because what counts is the intuition, not the technique.
Hi sorry for delay in replying on your comment. I might have expressed this a bit too rough or black and white. In the end Giana Factory will ofcourse have a major influence on finding the right winner but the girls just didn’t wanted to judge technical issues etc. I am pretty sure the jury won’t select a winner without making sure the girls agree. I have to reflect back on our last machinima contest we did back in 2010. Back then jury had 3 different winners but all pretty much the same films in their Top 3. It’s a collaborative process and everyone in jury, the band and me will balance all views and make sure we find the right winner. Don’t worry we won’t end up with a winner the band dislike!
Hey, don’t laugh you know this can happen in rl!!!
But anyway thanks for clarifying
