Tutsy Navarathna: Two guys, a girl, a demon.. have a look through the eye of passion, music and dance, which leads us through Pop Art Lab.
With this film dedicated to Pop Art Lab, I wanted to create, like in the Pop-Art, a collage of video and sound, to connect two cultures which are totally opposite.
One Indian – ancient, sacred – as an episode from the Ramayana, the tumultuous love affairs of Rama and Sita, mimicked here by Kapila Nagavallikunnel.
The other Western – modern, virtual and secular with Summer Holmeforth.
The differences are also accentuated by the combination of Techno music and “Bollywood”, with Avakian Avanes and Himesh Reshammiya.

A quick update! We passed Baby “Lorenzo” Woodrose event last night and I can’t wait to see the vids from both interview and live set. UPDATE WATCH THEM NOW HERE
It was RL vs. Virtual at its best since we managed to transform my RL livingroom into a recording studio. Even my friend who controlled Lorenzos inworld avatar was there! Set up with 2 laps, 1 desk, 3 LAN, multimixer, 3 headsets, 3 Skypes/SL Voice, 1 mike, 1 guitar and 1 reverb machine (infact the exact same copy as sixties psych legends 13th Floor Elevators used at their “Bull of the Woods” album recording back in 1968!) Add beers and u prolly get the picture! It was a blast! Must be stated it was an exercise in tech OMG but we f…n made it!

Pop Art Lab is a test project presenting new music (and videos soon). PAL presents selected goodies among 10.-20.000 CDs released each year. From popular to underground it gives you the opportunity to listen wherever you are RL or SL.
PAL support and loves music and ain’t based on pirate network – If you like what you hear go out buy and support your favourite artists. They deserve it!
Untill now roughly 3 new streams are set up weekly consisting of 4 streams/CDs each. Which means listeners being offline few days might miss the beat. Get in contact if you miss anything and we will try to do a re-setup. This blog will soon be fully updated and you can check out actual playlists weekly.
Concerning the selection and service in general we will be very pleased to hear your opinion!
